POC Newsletter 2/5/13

So once again I should apologize for being a crappy secretary. Some advice for you, don't take meeting notes on a post-it. You will lose it and foreg where you put it and as a result send out a very late newsletter.

ANYWAYS...

POCAR Final Results are posted here: www.purdueoutingclub.org/POCAR/final

Ian went caving at Doghill Donaheaux. Boyscout and a few others went with. It was a lot of fun and a pretty badass cave.
Ian also went to Big Pine creek after our big rain and ran the rapids. By the end of the day the temperature had dropped significantly and everyone came home very cold.

Saturday Feb 16 a bunch of people are going to Milwaukee for some indoor mountain biking at Ray's Mountainbike Park. Admission is 426 and bring $20-30 for gas, and some food money. Contacat Amy for details.

The Climbing lock-in will be Feb 23-24 at Hoosier Heights Indy. We will leave around 8pm and head back home around 8am. Cost is $15 and pizza will be included.

Watch your emails for spring break trips! Climbers are going to Red Rock Canyon in Vegas and Kayakers are going to the Smoky Mountains. It should be lots of fun! And feel free to create your own Spring break trip. Just don't lead a trip if you're inexperienced, unreliable, or a total moron.

That is all POCers. Be safe(ish) and have fun.Cheers,
Brad
