POC Newsletter 2/16/10

At this weeks meeting....

-Mandy brought awesome treats for Mardi Gras and they were really yummy

-If you want to join the club you have to sign a waiver and pay dues, they are $25 for a year and you can come to the meetings on Tuesdays to do that or come to gear hours.

Trips that went out...

-The lock in was last weekend and it went well

-Some people went to Portland Arch to ice climb and hike around and had a good time

-Andy and Mandy went to Shaft Cave with Pat, it had some vertical and was near Bloomington

Trips going out...

-The caving callout trip is this weekend, but it is full

-Skiing is Saturday and costs $45

-Kyle is taking an orienteering trip to Hoosier National Forest, leaving Friday, talk to him if you are interested

-Brad has invited anyone who wants to to watch man vs. wild with him tonight, this time there may be chocolate brownies

-Roll Sessions are every Monday and Wednesday from 8-930 in the pool and you must go to these if you want to go on the beginner trip over spring break. Mandy has challenged all climbers to go to roll session on Monday and see if the climbers can be taught to roll.

-Go boulder with Garth, he may also be watching climbing movies tonight or tomorrow

Thats all, email me with any questions
