***      -This year?s super cool t-shirt, the ?10 Signs you might be a POCer? is still for sale. They are $8.  See Jackie at the next meeting, you know you want one.

-If you are interested in taking a wilderness first responder class contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for more information, or if you have ideas on how to get the price down for the club.

-If you are interested in helping the Access Fund check out http://www.accessfund.org/ or contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-EPICS will be stenciling storm drains to help stop dumping and pollution of streams.  They are stenciling this Saturday (the 24th) from 9am to noon.  To help and have a legal excuse to spray paint city property (GO Legal Vandalism), email epics-This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  for information.

-Next Tuesday (the 27th) we will be having a POC picnic in Pickett Park instead of our usual meeting. A map to the park will be sent out soon. The grillin? will start around 5:30 (ish).  The entr?e will be provided.  If you are vegetarian there will an alternative entr?e but you have to email Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) so that she knows how much vegetarian food to get. For those of you that believe vegetables aren?t food vegetables are what food eats, there will be plenty of burgers and hot dogs.  Please bring a side dish (such as chips) or beverages (such as potable liquids a credit card wielding 5 year old is capable of buying).  Feel free to bring Frisbees and other such entertaining objects or items.

-If you have any gear checked out, you will need to return it next week or you will face quite unpleasant consequences.  You may have to learn to take your finals without depth perception or full use of your precious opposable thumbs, or (more likely) your grades will be encumbered until the truant gear is returned.

-There is a ropes clinic and skills training this weekend in Attica, IN (short drive).  There will be multiple sessions covering a multitude of useful rope related skills and techniques.  Contact Charles (This email address is being protected from spambots. ***Old news repeated just for the oblivious and the new members (because new POCers need love too)*

*Old news is now marked because every second saved online is a second you could be outside.

Well if I am to be the VP of Newsletter again, I should warn all of you out there in POC land my comments in the newsletters will most likely get weirder as I run out of original things to say (and as the physics department crushes my gentle spirit).

If you have any questions, comments, or complaints, word them so that if you found the root mean squared (rms) value of the number of syllables in each sentence it would equal a prime number (that should keep you busy till finals) , and send them to me @ This email address is being protected from spambots.
