POC Newsletter 3/23/04

Announcements:

***      -If you are interested in giving a presentation to the club about a past trip that you have been on, contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) you are more interesting than you think.

***      -This year's super cool t-shirt, the "10 Signs you might be a POCer" is still for sale. They are $8.  See Jackie at the next meeting, you know you want one.

***      -All members new and old, if you haven't filled out hold harmless forms (both the gray and the white insurance forms) for this school year, you need to.  You can fill them out at the next meeting.

-Next Friday (the 2nd), there will be a Critical Mass ride.  It sounds so cool everyone should do it.  If you have a bike and feel like joining a ton of other bikers to invade the streets for some fun on bikes, plan to meet behind the RSC at 4:20 next Friday.  Contact Nathan (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for more info.

-If you are in passion of the club's Sierra Designs 3-man Stretch Dome tent, you are urged to promptly return it failure to do so will result in a manhunt with a prolonged and unpleasant conclusion.  The aftermath of the hunt may involve but is not limited to the following, chloroform, Duct Tape, naphtha, a slingshot, lots of sparklers, and of course a Zippo.

-Roll session this Friday from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the dive pool.  Go Go Gadget Kayak!

Outgoing Trips:

-Climb Time Towers on Wednesday and Thursday meet behind the RSC at 6pm

-Climb Time Towers on Saturday, stay tuned for the time.

***Old news repeated just for the oblivious and the new members (because new POCers need love too)*

*Old news is now marked because every second saved online is a second you could be outside.

If you have any questions, comments, or complaints, write them into an irritated rant worded in a Jamaican styling (Have you ever herd a Jamaican get irritated, let alone rant?  I know I haven't but I imagine it would be humorous), and send them to me @ This email address is being protected from spambots.
