POC Newsletter 3/9/04

Announcements:

***      -If you are interested in giving a presentation to the club about a past trip that you have been on, contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) you are more interesting than you think.

***      -This year's super cool t-shirt, the "10 Signs you might be a POCer" is still for sale. They are $8.  See Jackie at the next meeting, you know you want one.

***      -All members new and old, if you haven't filled out hold harmless forms (both the gray and the white insurance forms) for this school year, you need to.  You can fill them out at the next meeting.

-TRIP LEADERS! You need to fill out an official trip form.  I have paper copies if you feel like chasing me down an running the form over to the RSC before Friday you can, or you can download it here http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~jlkruege/Tripform.html and email it to Vinnie.


Outgoing Trips:

-Climb Time Towers on Wednesday and Thursday (Thanks Jim), meet behind the RSC at 6pm 


Spring Break Trips:  Spring break is here, time to get gone.

-For spring break info check out the message board: http://poc.purdue.org/phpBB2/

-If you are interested in going kayaking in the Nantahala, the Chattahoochee, and the Ocoee over spring break contact Ryan (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). 

-Shaun will be joining up with the kayaking trip for the last four days (thurs-sun), if you are experienced and want to get in some kayaking over break contact Shaun (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-If you are interested in climbing in Red Rock Canyon (just outside of Las Vegas), contact Joel (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-If you are interested in backpacking in Utah, contact Mike G (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-If you are interested in backpacking the southern Tennessee/ northern Alabama region and then in the Floridian panhandle, contact Joe (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
