POC Newsletter 2/17/04

Announcements:

-The POC lock-in at Climb Time Towers is going to be Saturday Febuary 28th.  It is a marvelous time for all, even you non-climbers out there.  It will be $15 and the club will be providing pizza.  You can pitch in other edibles if you feel so inclined.  To see what you will be missing if you don't go check out the past pictures:

-If you are interested in a getting or renewing your CPR or First aid certification this semester contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-If you are interested in giving a presentation to the club about a past trip that you have been on, contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-This year's t-shirt, the "10 Signs you might be a POCer" is still for sale. They are $8.  See Jackie at the next meeting if you want one.

-All members new and old, if you haven't filled out hold harmless forms (both the gray and the white insurance forms) for this school year, you need to.  You can fill them out at the next meeting.

-There is a kayaking roll session this Friday in the pool from 6:30 to 8:30pm.  There will NOT be a roll session next Friday, so if you need to work on your skills before spring break you only have three Fridays left.


Outgoing Trips:

-Climb Time Towers on Thursday, meet behind the RSC at 6pm

-Nate has gotten permission to go into a privately own 3+ mile long cave,  if you are interested, he will be going at 10am this Saturday. Contact Nate (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
