POC Newsletter 2/3/04

Announcements:

-If you are interested in a getting or renewing your CPR or First aid certification this semester contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-If you are interested in giving a presentation to the club about a past trip that you have been on, contact Ari (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

-The POC lock-in at Climb Time Towers is going to be Saturday Febuary 28th.  It is a marvelous time for all, even you non-climbers out there.  The club will be providing pizza.  You can pitch in other edibles if you feel so inclined.

-There is a bouldering competition at Miami of Ohio on February 7. The cost to compete is $25.

-This year's t-shirt, the "10 Signs you might be a POCer" is still for sale. They are $8.  See Jackie at the next meeting if you want one.

-All members new and old, if you haven't filled out hold harmless forms (both the gray and the white insurance forms) for this school year, you need to.  You can fill them out at the next meeting.

-There is a kayaking roll session this Friday in the pool from 6:30 to 8:30pm.

-Start thinking about spring break trips!


Outgoing Trips:

-Climb Time Towers on Wednesday and Thursday, meet behind the RSC at 6pm

-Climb Time Towers on Saturday, watch your inbox for the time.

-If you are interested in trying your hand at ice climbing on Saturday, you should contact Matt (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)  He will be going to Starved Rock in Illinois To get on the ice before the crowds get there he will be leaving in at 3 in the morning on Saturday.
